Summary: The Occidental Dresden is in a great location. Only a short walk from the main train station and surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. The Christmas markets and old city are also close by. Rooms at the hotel are on the small side but the bathroom was functional and a good size. The biggest issue we had was the poor quality of the pillows. They were awful, no support whatsoever. Breakfast was very good.
