Positive: clean & spacious apartment, location as expected. Good value (price to quality). WIFI worked. Netflix on TV. Good hiking and sightseeing nearby.

Negative: This has been a very stressful stay due to a serious confusion between Belvilla and the actual local host. After booking this one-week stay, I've received several emails from Belvilla in different languages with tons of useless information. Until a few days before the trip, I've reached out to confirm whether or not the apartment had bedding for 5 guests. The response I received was a copy paste of standard property description with no answer to my question. I went through the Booking.com app to review the confirmation and figure out the check-in procedure, etc. and couldn't find anything on bed linens there either. As I started driving, I went to the app to grab an address to program into the GPS and, to my surprise, found the following; "5555 Gros-Fays Belgium." I've sent a message asking for a precise address that I could put into google maps, and this is the response I've received: "contact the homeowner directly to resolve your query." This was the time I realised that I wasn't communicating with the host :( So I decided to call instead of using the messaging system, but there was no live person on the other end. You can imagine the level of stress. Driving with 5 people in a car and not knowing where exactly we are going and having no number to call the host directly. I went through my emails with pdf attachments (6 pages) in the language I don't speak and became even more frustrated. I've inserted an approximate location from the original property listing and kept driving. Upon arrival, we parked by the wrong house and thankfully found a person who helped us. We drove on and found the property, but didn't know which apartment we were supposed to stay at. Finally we were able to call someone locally, and that's when we learned that there is no bedding. Thankfully the local hosts turned out a lot more helpful than Belvilla and solved the bedding problem for us.

Summary: The stay was fine, but the stress of arrival and check-in was an unmitigated disaster
