Zum Chiemsee nach Feldwies sind es 7 km, ganz leicht in 20 min. mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Südlich von Mietenkam öffnet sich das Achental mit dem Hochgern (1748m) zur Linken und die Hochplatte (1586m) auf der rechten Seite.
