Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The village of Doran is quiet but has a Spar and a bank. The property is on the main road and looks out over a field of cows to the mountains beyond. Our host, Frau Troy, made us feel very welcome, was happy to chat and looked after us. I could sit out on the terrace with a coffee and watch the world go by.

Negative: Despite being on the main road, I had to ask several neighbours where it was. The house numbering system is odd and 156 is next to 112. Go figure? Look for the wall mural with the Troy coat of arms.

Summary: Lovely, spacious house. Great kitchen if you're into cooking. Great views.
