Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property is spacious and clean. The rooms are big enough for a grp of 4, but it only has 1 bathroom/toilet, though it is spacious too. The internet is decent. The kitchen has the utensils that you need, but no condiments. It has a washing machine, but was only provided 1 detergent pod, so we could only do a single load. They provided towels and blankets, and pillows that you need. It got a nice view of Lake Como. The host also left food to cook, which we were very grateful for because we got in late and had no more energy to go to the grocery store; besides, it was already closed at 6 pm.

Negative: Not about the property, but even though the property is close to Fiumelatte stn, note that this is not the main train station, and not a lot of trains stop there. The train station also has lots of rugged stairs (130 steps) and is not paved. Lugging suitcases if you get off this station is going to be hard, especially at night and when it is raining. It's quite a walk (25 mins) to Varenna town and the main train station (Varenna-Esino).
