Summary: We stayed 3 days at the Trixi Park and we were lucky that the weather was glorious and hot.
The swimming lake is excellent and the kids loved the slide and diving boards.
The indoor swimming pool is equally and the associated climbing center really challenged the kids in a positive sense.
The house was frankly excellent. It is not a palace but it is all quality and a pleasant place to stay.
There is tons to do nearby. We cycled and hiked while there and the nearby villages are stunning and so is the landscape. It is also fun thst one minute you sfe in Germany, the next in the Czech Republic and of course Poland is right next door too. Dresden is close as well and the local towns of Bautzen and Zittau are well worth a visit.
The region is heavily unknown/underrated in the UK and I guess many would assume grey and brown tristesse but nothing could be further from reality.
Want to try something different - give Trixi a try.
