Summary: It’s a cute hotel. Great location. Unfortunately upon entering hotel there were two housekeepers swearing in Russian. While I live in Canada, I understand Russian very well. It’s really not a nice vibe. I haven’t encountered such behaviour in Canada, UK or Russia. So it’s person specific not culture specific. The housekeeping employees need better training. Breakfast seemed overwhelmed. They didn’t have bowls for yogurt, then they didn’t have plates. In the evening bar looked cute but the cocktail we ordered was poured from a 1.5L plastic water bottle that was being reused. I understand they pre-made it, but the presentation needs to be better. Hotel rooms do not have an option of setting desired temperature. They set it at the reception and in the room I was only allowed to adjust 1.5 degree up or down. It was so hot in the room and I had no option of lowering the heat pulling. Wasteful of energy and very difficult for a customer.
