Summary: A lovely country hotel with excellent service and comfort. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is decorated with art and artifacts from its long history, has a library and garden areas to walk or relax in. Dinner was a pleasant surprise as it’s a gourmet coursed meal (might not be a good fit for picky eaters). Breakfast was lovely with great variety. I was meant to stay one night but because of the comfort and food, I decided to stay another night to relax and enjoy the amenities. My one knock would be that you can hear road noise, but the benefits outweigh that. I will gladly visit again.
