Summary: Toch wel een beetje een tegenvaller! De foto's op de site zagen er trouwens fantastisch uit. De realiteit bleek anders uit te draaien. Bij aankomst na 18.00 uur troffen we een huis aan waarin enkele werkmannen de afvoerbuizen aan het doorspuiten waren. Na enkele uren kwam één van de heren ons melden dat ze het niet opgelost kregen. Dat ze m.a.w. zouden terugkomen met een pompwagen. Deze avond mochten we geen gebruik maken van het sanitair op de benedenverdieping. De volgende dagen hebben we echter niemand gezien, waardoor we het sanitair niet ten volle konden gebruiken. Enkel op vrijdag, de dag van vertrek, was het mogelijk te douchen op de benedenverdieping. Het anders wel gezellige huis met veel mogelijkheden heeft een grondige renovatie en/of schoonmaak nodig. De BBQ is gevaarlijk in gebruik, het zwembad was niet helemaal proper en het gras stond nogal hoog. Er moest nog een VELUX-raam geplaatst worden, enkel een provisorisch zeil sloot het gat af. Het lawaai van het vrachtverkeer en dergelijke meer was daardoor zeer hoorbaar. Gelukkig hadden we niet veel geurhinder van de papierfabriek, zoals uit eerdere verblijfservaringen viel op te maken. De kelder was eigenlijk een verzamelplaats van afval, zoals PMD-zakken, papier, karton en glas van vermoedelijk eerder gasten, niet echt een plaats om kinderen in te laten vertoeven, aangezien er ook een tafeltennis accommodatie in gehuisvest was. Kortom, nogal veel punten, die niet thuishoren op een ontspannende vakantie. We hebben er wel het beste van gemaakt en bevelen Belvilla zeker aan om een verblijf te boeken, vanwege de gebruiksvriendelijkheid.
