Positive: The place is literally amazing: the views are stunning; the house, pool house, bar, pool, hot tub are all fantastic; the host is the nicest, most generous person; the breakfast was gorgeous (and huge!) Honestly, I have been to plenty of places that advertise themselves as a calm retreat, but never have I been so blown away by a chalet. A special mention goes to our host. Not only did he pick us up from the station when our train was delayed, he drove us to the supermarket and the nearby town on our return journey. He was kind and shared a wine with us on our first night, but respected our privacy fit the rest of the stay. He responded promptly to our every request. He is a fantastic man who clearly takes huge pride in his work. Can’t recommend highly enough.
