This brand new (2023 Spring completion) executive retreat is situated on a 120 acre managed forest on the north shore facing south of beautiful Crystal Lake in the Municipality of Trent Lakes. Crystal Lake is a hidden gem between Haliburton and Lindsay and only a short 2 hour and 15 minute drive from Toronto. With over 40 KM of shoreline, a length of 8 KM and depth of 40M at the centre this crystal clean almost weed free lake is perfect for swimming, water sports, and fishing including lake trout, walleye, large and small mouth bass and white fish.

The “cottage” is situated on over 500 metres of private south facing shoreline with all day sun, deep water off the dock for swimming, a private boat launch, ample parking for multiple vehicles, an extra large lakeside fire pit and more than 2KM of hiking trails in the forest.

Floating at the waters edge you will find the Floathouse. The Floathouse is a vessel that is parked at the shore connected to a 300 square meter fixed dock for sunbathing, and a 70 square metre floating dock for swimming, fishing and sunbathing. On top of the Floathouse is a 144 sq meter terrace with a bar area, fridge, BBQ, lounge furniture and games and a 180 degree lake view that will take your breath away as you watch the sunrise, bake in the afternoon sun all day and watch the sunset.

Bring your own boat and launch at our private boat ramp or enjoy the two kayaks, canoe or water bike which are included in your stay for your enjoyment.

The cottage is set back from the waters edge about 30M and from the fire pit about 20M.

From the water the first thing you notice is the 15 sq meter screen porch with providing an “the outdoors are indoors” experience via the 6 metre wide window wall - a retractable system that turns the 12 seat dining room into a spectacular indoor-outdoor living space of over 100 sq metres.

Inside on the main floor just off the dining room you will find the primary bedroom suite with king size bed and private ensuite occupying the east end of the building.

Behind the dining room a chef’s kitchen equipped with the latest appliances including an upright 42” wide fridge-freezer, wine fridge, a large island oriented induction cooktop, dishwasher, full size oven and wall mounted speed oven plus a more than complete set of cooking utensils, small appliances and glassware.

Adjacent the dining room is the great room for any rainy days and of course anytime relaxing evenings. The great room has an 18’ high ceiling providing a magnificent indoor experience. There is seating for everyone around the real wood fireplace with towering stone chimney that has a 65” Samsung 4K Frame TV. Everywhere you look there are windows with lake or forest views.

Just off the great room is a large laundry room with washer and dryer and folding station. Off the laundry room is a double car garage equipped the an EV charger.

From the great room follow the oak staircase to the open concept upper level where there are 4 bedrooms and a second washroom, full gym with a spectacular lake view and the “playroom” with two more beds. All in all the cottage can very comfortably sleep 12
